About Me

Hi! My name is Courtney, and I am a blossoming travel addict. I grew up in south Florida and stayed in my home state to attend Florida State University, where I learned the ins and outs of social media and public relations before graduating with a degree in fashion and media communications. I love learning and continue to push myself through several hobbies, including:

• Reading books - I once read 99 novels in a single year!

• Baking - which may be a future career… Call me a sucker, but those Hallmark movies we all claim to hate but binge anyway REALLY have me dreaming of a small town cupcakery. 

• Coffee - Visiting a city’s popular coffee shops has always been a mainstay on my travel itinerary. I think I love the fact that no matter where you are in the world, a coffee shop feels a bit like home. 

Despite hobbies keeping my interest piqued, I spent two years climbing the corporate ladder at a boutique PR firm before realizing I would never be happy with the mindset of “living for the weekend.” I wasn't excited about life and I needed to adjust my course - so I quit my job and used my savings to backpack abroad! As the saying goes, the rest is history.
